Will Congress Impeach Rosenstein?

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) believes Congress will invoke a vote to force the impeachment of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.

“It’s unfair to the country for you and I to be having this discussion in the absence of facts under oath,” Gaetz stated. “That’s the only way we’re going to get it done. And here’s what I worry about, Chris. I think that our leadership wants to send us home at the end of the week and tell us to go campaign for the midterms and that we really won’t get these answers. Rod Rosenstein’s impeachment can be brought up for a vote by any member of Congress at this point. It lights a two-day fuse. Mark Meadows and I have said that if we don’t get these answers under oath, we may invoke that vote to keep the Congress in town so that we can get to the bottom of this.”

We need to vote every Democrat out that we possibly can. As a matter of fact I’m making it my mission from now on!!! I’m sickened by them and their lies and corruption!! It’ gone on way too long as it is after all the Russian Hoax!

    • mudguy1

I will NEVER EVER vote another Democrat in any election local, state or federal.

    • Dr. Mike Reeder

Sign me up too Suzy! Until these damn folks get more mainstream with politics and return to some semblance of fairness, I’m with you!

    • Calvin Harwick

I agree Susie. The only way is to get the none voters and the independents out to vote and of course the the good democrats.I am sure their are millions with a good heart

  • Nastyoldone

NO the Republicans have shown that they have NO balls. Sorry.

    • Bruce Kellar

That is because some have claimed to be R without actually being R. But you are correct that they abstain as often as not because they have free thought. Pisses me off. Dems want us to go socialist/communist and end upo without a nation at all.

    • Mein kampf

Your exactly right because they have no balls either when it comes to impeaching the President.

  • James

Interesting the Republicans have been in control of Congress for 14 of the last 20 years, Congress was controlled by the Dems for 2 years and it was split for 4 years. So perhaps Susie should be voting out all those Publicans.

    • Bruce Kellar

You really do not understand how this system works. The majorities of all 3 branches control the vote. That has not been the case for republicans and I am not one and neither are you so why do you care.

      • James

Sorry I think they controlled all three for most of Bush’s term.

        • john

You wrong democraps was in charge of Senate an house

          • James

Where do you Repukecans get your facts? Fox News or Fake News Trump? Repukecans controlled the House & Senate from 2003 to 2007, the senate was split 50/50 and the house controlled by the Repukecans 2001 to 2003, the Dems controlled both 2007 to 2009. Looks like my statement is accurate and your’s is horse manure but living in a fantasy world is much easier then living in the real world.

    • Dr. Mike Reeder

It’s not the Republicans that are making a mockery of these proceedings! ANY accusation without proof is a waste of time. If she really has something, let’s see it and let the judge defend himself.

      • Jeanne Stotler

In 1948 a student had a party during school hours at her house, this meant skipping school, with so many absent the Vice principle sent local Police to a house (someone squelled) and the students were brought back to school (walking distance) under police escort. The ones that choose to skip were given failure grade for day, parents notified , which most likely was the worse punishment. Now today I know where the house was ( not sure it’s still there) I do not recall who went but do remember the circumstances and the girl’s first name, Now if I at 86 can recall some facts, then someone about 50 should know some facts. I believe this was all dreamed up as a way to stall the installing of Judge Kavanaugh, no one gave a cre about his girls or other innocent names they threw around.

      • James

Sorry the point of the story was about the Assistant AG not Kavanaugh. So you comment is a bit off point.

        • Dr. Mike Reeder

Sorry, James. You are right. There’s just been so much stupidity coming out of that and it’s been so unbelievable I got caught up in it. Won’t happen again!

    • john

Democraps been in charge for majority of the pass 50 years with 2/3 vote in Senate an Jose Republicans hasn’t had that type of vote so get out of your dream land

      • James

HELLO!!! My comment was about Bush’s term. I know it’s tough to read and understand for Repukecans but try reading the comment before you make unrelated comments.

      • James

Dems in control 30 of the last 50 years while the rpukecans were in control of the White House for 30 of the last 50 years and I’m pretty sure the Dems didn’t have a 2/3 majority for all those 30 years. Actually the repukecans controlled the senate for 20 of the years when we had a Repukecan President. OMG I’m confusing you again with the facts.

  • Dr. Mike Reeder

They will if he doesn’t resign first. It’s time that ALL of these swamp rats be told to leave. You just can’t have these kinds of things going on with an Attorney General and assistant Attorney Generals. If they can’t sign up with the administration they should just leave instead of being made to leave. It takes energy from everyone.

    • James

They are suppose to enforce the laws not suck up to the President unless you live in Russia

      • Dr. Mike Reeder

And by enforcing the laws the swamp rats will be all gone. If they had been enforced before, they would never have gotten a foothold.

        • James

Including Trump and all the swamp rats he brought with him. Oh, I’m sorry, his swamp rats have Right wing dispensation.

          • Dr. Mike Reeder

What laws have been broken, James? If they have been broken then out with them! But remember the innocent until PROVEN guilty precept at the base of our legal system.

      • Dr. Mike Reeder

…. or China. again you are right on. I think what’s happening here is more of the “don’t accuse your boss of things” though. The first thing I learned as young engineer is that you ALWAYS support and protect you boss. If you can’t do that, you need to resign. It’s not illegal to accuse you boss but you better not have any skeletons clinking in your closet.

  • Mein kampf

Why impeach Rosenstein when many are waiting for the President to be impeached for far worse infractions than Rosenstein.

  • George Reed

    Sure hope so !!!

  • Bill

nobody in d.c. has enough testicles to stand up to the hatred and terrible antics of the libturd “establishment” that is fueling all of this hatred and derision in the country.
